Hello all, got this from a different reflector today. Sad to say all this violence around us and you have a top LEO official getting the information on guns wrong. Don’t know about you but I see no rifles.

Also note the Glock 26 (?), see what’s installed?

Have a safe weekend.

It may not be a rifle by legal definition but its still technically more of a rifle than a pistol. Sliding a plastic stock on it doesn't magically change anything other than a legal definition.

Plus unless you know the manufacturer and serial number it could possibly be a factory SBR, or originally a rifle receiver (which means the ATF would still consider it a SBR)

Bottom line, the cop ain't really wrong, that is an SBR or carbine for all I intents and purposes. It's no pistol even though technically thats probably what the ATF designation would be.

That is a good point. My assumption was it was sold as a pistol receiver/ build (probably not to him)

Those switches are legit. I’ve seen two and watched one work. Garbage quality, but they do what they’re built to do. I heard that they’re about $100 online. Lots of these thug piece of shjts walking around in these shjthole cities with them. Scary thought.

Yeah I’m gonna give them a pass on that one. Sure, we know, but to the uninitiated I could easily see someone calling that a “rifle.” And given what I assume is Miami’s politics, I doubt very many, including LE, are gun people.
