Do any metro atl shops offer layaway for suppressors?

I know of a couple that do out of state.

Pay the down, send off check & paperwork, have can paid off by the time the stamp comes back.

Added benefit of sales when payments are made.

What am I missing as to why more places don't do this or advertise it if they already do?

I haven't really seen it, feel like ccf might have had something about payments on the last bunch of guardians he listed. I just use my visa, get free points and make payments.

Cc points makes sense.

I have paid up front and waited the eternity for the call. Layaway seems like it would increase business for the shop during the wait and could motivate someone to go ahead and get one or two more cans in the pipeline.

There has to be a downside or more dealers would be all over it?

We asked this question of a gun shop and they told me very nicely, why should we tie our money up on a can and have someone just make payments each month? We have to pay for it up front tie it to a specific customer, and await the approval for them to buy it? They said what we could or would do is charge them 3.5% per month on the total price of the can. We said thanks for your information and input on the subject.

That's what we found out..

I'm not in the market right now. Just know of a buddy that got a few cans this way. I thought it was a great idea, and was wondering why it's not more popular.

I would think that owners of gun shop want there money up front when paperwork is sent and comes back in your name it's not legally there's anymore
