I've shot all except the Glock and hands down the Shield is my favorite. I would lean toward the Glock if I didn't own a shield but then again I hear the trigger is worse than the usual Glock. Again I am happy with my Shield but I know some people just don't like them.

I've shot/owned most of the guns on your list. The good news is competition among manufacturers has brought some excellent guns to market these days, and you really can't go wrong with the top players in the single stack 9mm genre. My order is: 1. Shield w/no safety 2. Glock 43 3. Ruger LC9s Pro 4. XDs 5. Kahr PM/CM 9. A lot of folks will balk at my Kahr ranking, I simply prefer a striker fired carry gun.
