I highly suggest you move up to the .32,

The lcr rim fire triggers are terrible.

The .327 gets you 6 shots instead of the 7 but you get a normal trigger. Woman enjoy shooting 32 sw long 100g at 800fps. Penetration is around 15 inches.

You can then load 32hr or 327fed for hiking. Hard cast in these go about 1m in soft tissue. Plenty for any big cats or dogs or average bears.
