I hope biker_bill will let me have some trigger time with this Enfield at Riverbend 3/25 when i am up there shooting the reduced match...I will be the only guy shooting a 1903A3. I guarantee it.

I'll bet you will be and I'll bet Ben will be smiling because of it.
(Most people have never actually seen him smile, lol.)

SO last comment on this thread before I lock it.

I took out the Enfield for her first 10 shots today after the match at RBGC.

I had a few guys come up after the match to ogle her and one of them said " do my eyes deceive me or is that a basically new Enfield?" I said " yes sir it is" Wow. Was his response.

I have to admit, I was amazed at the action and the smooth feeding into the chamber when I closed the bolt. I Kind of like the c ock on close. The sights are cool, I like the ladder sights with aperture. I felt like i could drill a Nazi form 100 yards and make him dance! Its a neat gun I think i will keep it until one of you makes me an offer i cant refuse. LOLZ.

Enfields, esp. #4&#5, have a reputation for smooth actions. Every one I have handled and shot were butter smooth. Great rifles with a lot of history.

It almost like you take a short stroke on the bolt but low and behold she chambers a round. Quickly and efficiently/
