I have a 22 conversion sitting on top of my Glock 21, it's actually fun to shoot. I don't consider it practice for the 45 though, no recoil.

Maybe they will include sights other than the cheap plastic ones.
You can buy the same stock Glock brand sights in steel (non night sight) for $10 on their site.
I think they could at least include these as standard without a price increase.

They are noticeably different to me. The G30 is a brick. I carried one for a while and it's a good gun, but the extra width is definitely a factor for me, and the shorter grip wasn't the best. JMO...If I wanted a G19 sized .45 carry gun, I would get another XD mod 2 sub compact. Outstanding gun, feels great, shoots great, 10 round standard capacity, 13 round back up mag.

If Glock introduces a .22 trainer, I will definitely be intrigued, but only if priced right. No way I am parting with $500 for a Glock in .22....
