Let’s play the “What is it?” game!

South African ADP -- Advanced Defensive Pistol? Imported by Heritage Arms, and sometimes called the "Stealth."

Or the Italian made copy of it called the Tanfoglio P25?

How about Wilson Combat's version? (But the Wilsons always have a two-tone look with a stainless steel upper over the black polymer lower don't they?)

You got it. It's the Heritage Mfg. Stealth. It was a South African designed gas delayed blowback pistol (like the HK P7 or Walther CCP) from the 90s/early 2000s.

HINTS:
1-- It was American made.

2-- It's from a gun company that we're all familiar with.

3-- It came out in 9 mm and 40 S&W, and it was supposed to come out in .45 ACP as well, but that apparently never happened.

Answer coming tonight
if nobody IDs it before then.

It's the AMT On Duty. It was made from 1991 - 1994 and was an attempt for AMT to make more money since they were struggling. The idea was to make something for law enforcement since the 90s was the big time trend of law enforcement all over switching from revolvers to autos. They offered the pistol in Da/sa and DAO. The magazine was a mec gar mag loosely patterned after the S&W 5906 design. It was expensive for the time( $700 roughly in 1990s dollars or $1400 in today's money). It suffered quality problems and low production numbers not allowing it compete with the more reputable makers. It's kind of a cool pistol. I never knew about it or would have thought it was an AMT. It looks like a S&W 5906, Sig Sauer 226, and a Taurus PT92 had a threesome and made a baby.

Accu-Tec HC-380.
HC = the high capacity version of the more compact AT-380, which has the proportions of a Walther PP/K.

But, the Accu-Teks do not have the DA/SA trigger system of a Walther.
These cheap knockoffs are single action only.

You got it. Accu-Tec if I recall, had a person who use to work for AMT and moved on with doing Accu-Tek. You're up.
