Manhurin MR-88 Special Police used in France.

Yep. The earlier ones were built on Ruger frames. Ruger shipped frames to France, where Manurhin installed their barrels and cylinders. The one pictured above is a Ruger-built frame shipped to France.

Eventually Manurhin was licensed by Ruger to manufacture the frames as well. Here’s a later version with a Manurhin-made frame.
