Yes, but I think they were still importing them into mid - 1990's.

Some had plain muzzles.

A few had vent holes / ports on the top of barrel for compensation.

A few had this kind of integral, but fully external, slotted compensator.

FEG double action high-capacity pistol,
model GKK. Made in Hungary. It looks something like a Browning Hi- Power but also looks a lot like a Smith & Wesson model 59, and functions more like the Smith because of the double action trigger and the slide mounted safety - deocker.

(S&W had other single shot target pistols before this, but the fact that this has a straight line ignition system --rather than a hammer that swings across an arc --makes this different and you got that in the name.)
