Let's CELEBRATE Takedown Rifles!

One of the great things about the DRD Tactical setups in 5.56/.300Blk and .308 is that you can tighten the barrel but by hand.

For best accuracy, DRD recommends that you tighten it with a standard carbine buttstock wrench. The threads are fine and it tightens very well by hand. When I use the wrench, I tighten by hand first, slap the wrench on, give it a whack with the heel of my hand, and I'm done. It's good and repeatable.

What stock is that?

Thanks, the stock started off as an underfolder stock (https://www.underfoldstocks.com/Products). I cut the stock in half because they didnt make a takedown version, then shaved out a small section for the bipod to be recessed into the front forearm. I also bedded the take-down block w/ jb weld to prevent the wobble that was there from the forearm (from being cut off the one piece stock). Then shaved the rear to flatten/recess it to accept the folding stock adapter. And finally added the Shockwave Blade. It is a dream to shoot and holds its own against my standard 10/22 bull barreled at 25 yards.

Gentlemen, I have a question.
Im dont have much experience with the 10/22 So..
Useing CCI 40GR LRN ( Only type used)
With the Takedown Charger on multiple kinds more than one unit.
After the first round it loaded in chamber.
One will drop the magazine and examine the second bullet in the magazine. ( first was loaded in chamber)
The second bullet will have a score on the nose. This scoring will cause inconsistent groupings. About the size of a entire DVD at 25 yards.
This happened on multiple units. Have yall experienced this or is this just me?
Might be with multiple mags too.
Sent it into ruger once with the mag and it did the same thing with a little less prominent scoring.

Havent had too much of this with a standard 10/22 but the take down seems to do it. Iv even tightened down the barrel to the receiver with the wheel.

Old School again... I have been looking for one of these for a long time.
Rossi Interarms Alexandria, VA Model M59... 22 Magnum version of the common 62SA 22 LR.
