Earlier this morning a friend already challenged me on the numbers. I don't know if I have the right answer either BUT you all should take easy on the drinking and count the squares ONLY, rectangles doesn't count in.....

Looking at the image more closely, it appears that none of the lines are intersecting at right angles so the correct answer may be NONE.
