Picked his little joker up is week. My first RIA. Yet to get Ay range time on it.

theres a lot of good quality 1911's on the market now from the Phillipines and that area, ATI, RIA, Metro Arms, and then theres the South American market of Taurus and Springfiled and thier 1911's.
I was looking at some used RIA 38 Supers the other day and would have likely picked one of them up but I can't use the GI sights with my age and bad eyes anymore.

Apparently these are addictive....Just picked up another one earlier today put 150 flawless rounds through it as soon as I got home. My new RIA Tactical...this appears to have been shot hardly any, can't say for sure though. It was for sure Like New in the box with all documents, lock etc....I am VERY HAPPY.
All I can think of doing to this one is night sights, grips, and get rid of that ambidextrous safety.
I know crap picture, I couldn't wait to get out the real camera, I was to excited...lol

I haven't seen one with the markings like that before, you and proximal both have them. Is this a newer or older style of marking them?
