That's really cool. I've never fired a 10/22 and have no knowledge of them but now I want one! Even more so, I want that same animal in 22mag!!

it's a pretty easy build . But since I had not owned a 10/22 for about 20 years I didn't realize how expensive the mags are now. This Ruger BX25 mag was $30.00 locally. The 15 round would look better but aince it costs the same I went with the 25. And let me tell you it ran like a sewing machine. I put over 100 rounds through it yesterday. That's the first time in years I have been able to just blast away and not worry about ammo cost. And it was almost hearing safe . I used ear plugs the whole time and all I heard was action noise. Next week I'm taking the barrel to a gunsmith in south Bibb Co to get it threaded so I can put an AR birdcage on it.
