Im talking about , Been somewhere and done something and got scars to prove it.

Cerakote protects mine. Still looks great, and this has been run hard and put up wet. No need for rust and such just cuz it gets used hard.

Older pic or the rifle, but this was the last match I shot before having to re-barrel it due to shooting the barrel out.

How about this early Bacon Revolver (note the non fluted cylinder) that was lost during the battle for Atlanta and remained buried until 2009? It's still loaded.

Here's my 1911. At night, it sleeps on the nightstand, and in day, is always within arm's reach. It also goes everywhere with me in the truck. It's pretty much my "go to" pistol. The light on it, is probably older than some of you. It's the model 310, and was introduced by Laser Products Corp. (now, called Surefire) in 1986. It was the first weapon mounted light of its time. It runs on a single CR123a battery, and the original super xenon lamp produced (an impressive for the time) 30 lumens of light. I have since found an LED module designed for a single cell setup that fits the old Surefire Z32 shock isolated bezel perfectly. The single mode LED conversion puts out around 200 - 250 lumens of a cool tint light.
