I remember my Father using his 444s back when I was younger. It really puts them down. A 444p is on my list of wants along with a 444s.

I picked up a Marlin today. Been looking for one of these for a while. It is NOT pristine, but for a 1958 Marlin Mountie that has never been a safe queen, it is not bad at all. Needs a front sight hood, and a couple more little things, but I believe it cleaned up quite nicely.
