Lever Gun Porn

I would like to add a big leaver to my SS1895G as well as the blue one if the cost is not prohibative. Has anyone done this and so what was the cost and how difficult was it?
Can you run a screwdriver? You know... lefty-loosie, righty-tighty?

If you can, you can install a big loop in your leeeever gun!

Thanks. I was not so much concerned with knowing which end of the screwdriver to use as I was concerned with any fitting necessary. I don't really like to take a drill or grinder to one of my bang sticks.

I was teasing you. It's really just as easy as turning a screwdriver, however. Depending on the gun, there might be a pin or two that needs pushed out, but for the most part they are plug and play. I've never had to do any fitment when installing a large loop.

Good luck! In for pics of the finished product!

Since this is a lever gun thread, I want to ask a couple of questions about a particular lever gun model.

Here goes, "What do you believe is the value of a Marlin 39A, and what is the availability of this model?". Also, "What is the value of a Marlin Mountie, or 39M and what is the availability of this model?". I would appreciate your opinion....and yes...I realize it is just your opinion. Thanks

39 Mountie, I have one dated 1960 wouldn't let it go for nothing under 800.00
Just a regular 39 depends on the date.
My opinion sometimes suck....LOL
Hey man, how are you feeling? BTW, I still have that 30TK.
Nah, you opinion does not suck, but man, $800 sounds high. Must be a great one!
Thank you, I appreciate it.

I have two Mountie models. One is primo, the other is shooter grade. Primo one would go for $700 - $750 just about any day of the week and maybe more at a high end show. Shooter grade would be around $450 - $500 most likely.

Typical 39A would go between $450 - $600 depending on year/condition/etc.

I also have an original Model 39 with the star. Value on that one is around $1,800 in good condition, but mine has some holes in the side from a scope being mounted 100 years ago when it was worth about $29.95. I estimate the value of my Original (2nd year) 39 to be about $750 - $800.
