Fatal_Bert does amazing cerakote work, and isn't too terribly far from Locust Grove.

He did some Cerakote on classics guns like a rem 700 ADL with a beatiful wood stock and a weatherby mark 5 in midnight blue. Both look like a 100% freshly done blue job, that’s been recently oiled. You have to inspect it closely to tell it’s Cerakote.

I took the black cap and white spacer out. Thought about rounding the knob off but am open minded to something decorative too.

I’m in Locust Grove also. Make the drive to Thomaston and let Fatal_Bert do the work for you. He refinished an old 16 gauge shotgun for me that looks awesome. James is a wizard with Cerakote and a really nice guy to boot.
