Libriplate 130-a

Have been using oil and wanting to use grease and was curious if anyone has used this, Lubriplate 130-a. I know it was used in the military, and I realize that there are some concoctions out there but I have read some good things about this stuff. I was reading about the flash point/temperature range though? Wanting to use it on my AR’s and pistols. Looking for info. Thanks.

That’s where it’s from. Was curious if anyone has used it, and what the consensus was.

Haven't used it, been using synthetic motor oil, but am interested in others experience

Grant Cunningham has a good article on it, talks about it and even the use of using motor oil. Talks highly of using Lubriplate. Was curious myself of some feedback from some folks.

Lots of the Older Garand collectors still use it. I use plain white lithium grease myself

I use Mobile1 0W-30 or 0W-20, can’t remember which, right now, but it works great- Glock, 1911, Sig-grease on rails, and AR. One quart will last my entire lifetime.
