I recently acquired a new Marlin XT-22M. I'm very pleased with the accuracy of this rifle but am experiencing occasional light strikes. It doesn't happen every time and doesn't seem to be ammo specific. I've tried CCI, Speer, Hornady, Federal, Winchester, and Remington with similar results. I disassembled, cleaned and lubed it before shooting. I also dry fired it a few times with a snap cap chambered to check the trigger pull with my Lyman gauge. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Keep it clean, pull a bore snake through it from the muzzle to the chamber every 50 rounds. A little powder residue in the chamber will allow the cartridge to chamber almost all the way, but not quite bottomed out. The firing pin energy is then partially absorbed by the final bottoming out of cartridge as the pin hits it.

Other things to check include making sure the pin is clean within the bolt.

Edited-I noticed it is a bolt gun, the above still applies.
