'likes' from deleted threads

I'm toe up, I lost about 20 likes in that scary woods no-arms thread.

Why was that deleted?

I feel like I need attention so wanted to know if anyone else thinks that we should get to keep our 'likes' from deleted threads...
I feel so strongly about it that I created a poll...
