line type for trout fishing........

Just my two cents but I never use a leader when freshwater fishing unless of course I’m fly fishing. Salt, yes, but from braid to barrel to leader. On the rare occasion I trout fish with conventional equipment, I use 4 lb mono.
I find the benefits of braid (casting distance and sensitivity) outweigh the hassle of needing a leader.

I have a better suggestion. Go fishing instead of asking so many questions about it on the internet. It’s the best way to learn. May take a little longer. May cost a little more. But you’ll come out better for it. Go fish.

between you and i, i was semi pro for several yrs. i had to drop out due to
2 blown disks in my back that left me bed ridden for 6 month.
time away you lose your sponsors.
nothing makes ya feel more like a human being than having a loved one
lower you down on a toilet seat 3 or 4 times a damn day i'll tell ya.

isnt that wat this forum is for/ sharing. questions, and so on?

i cant say ive ever seen a guy come on to anothers thread and tell them to
stop asking so many questions. i cant imagine what it takes in the head and chest
of ones self to even do that. hell, who knows maybe im taking it wrong.
You are. And written word, especially on this forum, is very often misinterpreted so no harm no foul. Just go fishing. Try new things and enjoy the successes and failures. Failures are the best learning tool there is.
