This list really IS updated! I went by what used to be Cedar Creek Range in Oakwood (Gainesville area) the other day and found it closed and the building vacant. Apparently they went out of business in June or July. And they're not on your list. Good job on keeping current.

They're pretty good people. Good staff, gun prices are usually fair to good or outright steal compared to online (honestly, 99% of the bad prices you'll find are consignments they have no control over), nice variety of ammo in stock (only place in the area I know that stocks 6.5 Carcano), and if you're looking for something, they'll do their best to track it down.

Moore's Pawn is right down the street on 2053 West Point Road but note they mostly sell cheap/SNS type guns, not everything is of great condition, and I've found prices to be up and down. Their selection is good for the size of their location. Polite staff in my experience.

And I'll vouch for Pawn Express. They keep a good staff on hand, their prices are almost always reasonable to good, and buying a gun from them is an easy process. Southern Shooters owner is a nice man and he's probably the best spot in town for hunting supplies, but he doesn't keep a ton of handguns in stock if that's what you're looking for. Plenty of other stuff though, and I recommend you at least pop in and browse around if you're in the area.

One person shop. Brian Ott does not carry a lot of inventory on hand but will special order anything for you. Specializes in gunsmithing. Refinishes firearms using Duracoat and also Parkerization.


Douglasville: Stoddard's Gun and Range: 5840 Bankhead Highway: very new, nice range, limited amount of guns/accessories but they are expanding. Great people, just got Class III license but don't believe they're stocked on product yet.

Douglasville: Gable's Sporting Goods 6250 Fairburn Road : good for hunting supplies, do have a decent amount of guns.

Villa Rica: Georgia Arms: simple ammo reloading/manufacture but great place to get bulk ammo loose inside ammo cans for great prices. (500 rnds 9mm 115grain in an ammo box $115)
