There ought to be a way of getting fingerprints from people who are about to test-drive your cars.
Thanks to all these messicans in the USA illegally, counterfeit ID's are a big business. High-tech. You can buy a fake D/L for just several hundred dollars, and it will look real enough to most people. (Heck, a few of them ARE real, thanks to criminals working at the DMV and supplementing their State salary with some black-market dealing on the side).
An inkless fingerprint scanner would be a good way of ID'ing your customers. And you don't have to turn those prints over to the government L.E. agencies UNLESS the "customer" turns out to be a fraud or criminal. If the customer is just somebody on the lam or an honest illegal alien who just wants a vehicle and can pay for it, and he makes those payments as he promised, you don't ever have to question his ID or send his prints to the State.
