Not the same.

I used to make Liver Pate out of chicken livers, good stuff on crackers chased with beer..I like them fried as well.

Wife has a few tubs of liver in the freezer to make this. We used to cater and folks loved it.

I was working in Charlotte last summer and had some for breakfast. Delicious. I stopped at a Food Lion and brought a few packs back home with me. I like it better than scapple. Scrapple is good but more grainy. Liver pudding is similar to mush but not as good. I can find liver pudding down here but not the mush.
