OK, update. I tried most of the suggestions and have seen improvement. I have established it is an extraction problem and not the mag.
Would not eject light loads but loaded mag with 4 rds of 147gr and it fired and ejected properly, Damn.
I still have more fine tuning to do but it is at least usable.
The barrel has a lot of movement when action is locked back (1/16" or so), might be normal??

I have 1 bought it during Covid, it's a llama 911, it's a smaller .45, I never fired it and did come with 2mags, it's in the safe. This is the type I have.
