Gonna call bs on the 8k in a non boosted b series. Or you got raped.

You tell me you can buy the motor at around 4 grand have it sleeved, forged internals, head ported,
new cams, valves, stems, springs ,gears...I think thats already close to 8k...but I could keep going.

Sorry guy,but I never built a car and put a junk engine in it.

Are you kidding me? I've probably owned more hondas then you have cars. There is no such thing as a integra gsr type r motor. The gsr is a b18c or c1 and the type r is differnt entirely. Just because its a b series doesn't mean you had a type r. You have pics of said car motor?

May want to check my Fs thread on my civic now...guess I should change my b series to a type r motor LOL.

And the car in your link is a gsr. Only type r stuff is interior and a few motor upgrades. And being boosted, Nobodys buying a type r high compression block to rip intwrnals out

ok guru

Just stating...you were acting like your civic is the fastest car in the world on the street and I've had turbo gsr setups myself I wouldn't call "fast" but when you start making blanket statements about hondas, then post a link to this unicorn gsr type r motor, it makes me wonder

Wow, for all that money you could have bought something really cool like a machine gun. Instead you put it into a 4 cylinder car so it could keep up with factory 8 cylinder cars. I don't get it. I would rather have a machine gun and a slow car myself.

And you did all that and got less than 240 HP instead of going turbo?

Hey Bioshock. Call Tim at Jarco and tell him you want a Type R GSR motor. I guarantee you he asks quite a few questions. Why? Like Steve says, they are 2 different configurations.

that's pretty dirty

You'd have to have been there to see the situation. The Mustang I am referring to was a POS, ragged to near death. It had Flowmaster 40's on it, but sounded low on compression and had an erratic idle (not lumpy cam idle, poor idle - like a bad injector or something). He revved on me at the first red light, and the torque of the 360 through 3.92 gears is more than any of that era of stock Mustang could deal with. Silly thing...he revved on me again at the next light, but didn't see the cop. So I baited him...IMHO he earned that one. Should have been aware of his surrounding before starting something a second time.

integra gsr type-r b18c engine

I guess everyone else has a fake engine aswell.

never said Mine was the fastest, but if I had you blowing you hot air out the back it might have been,
just stated it was faster than the cars mentioned.

and with that, I surrender to you great wisdom.

Again, two different engines. Like a mustang gt and cobra or a camaro vs Corvette. That's all in stating.
