Hey guys, looking for a local guy around central ga that can cut/rethread a rifle barrel for me and dovetail the front sight back in and possibly drill/tap for a picatinny rail up top. Seems most local shops have gotten rid of their machinery lately and no longer do it, so I'm out of ideas unless there's a hole in a wall place someone knows about.
The gun in question is a Winchester model 74, I'm basically cloning it into the sniper version available back in the day. The gun is rusty crusty and beat up, so I'm looking to bring some new modern life to the old thing.
