Long range

i have been here for a while. I keep hearing guys talking about shooting “long distance” and it makes me wonder. If I supply the place who is willing to show up? I am willing to put up a some “sitting around firearms and gear” for those who are willing to enjoy some range time. Anyone in? Ranges start at 1200!!!

Why do the ranges "Start" at 1200? do you have a spot to at least confirm zero?

My son just bought an AR10 a week ago and hasn't got a clue how to shoot beyond 300 or so, He was going to go somewhere on the other side of Athens to a 750 yd range and try his hand at it. He would love to get some first hand input from those that know.

Still a long drive. Especially if I'm just wanting to pull the trigger and confirm loads and dope.

I'm not against a drive to shoot, but if I had something closer, like 45 minutes out, I would shoot a lot more.

What are the details, price, location, date/time?

The furthest I have done is 600 at Talladega so 1200 would be a treat.
