Long term care insurance.

Don't have it....at 71, not a good option. I've recently(last 4 years) had my dad, step mother, & mother all pass. None had long term care, however they had other $ to pay.....where I'm going with this, is that it's been my experience that the last 2-3 years is where the tremendous costs are....all 3 were burning through 100K+ a year at the end....so....if you got around 200-300k for the last few years, you are probably good.....long term insurance does have time limits, and so fourth(I'm no expert) I think that it's possible to out live your LT inrs....

The light came on as I read this. You're so right. My In Laws did have long term care. They were actually saving money every month with it. What a blessing. Anyways, my Mother in Law has outlived the coverage. She has other means which were helped a lot by the long term care.

Day by day.
It’s hard to! We are now forced to deal with a real mess! Mother-in-law suffers with dementia, she wants to stay in Douglasville. I am not spending any time in Douglasville so it’s going to be a problem but the good thing is my wife is caretaker of everything well maybe not a good thing if you need something, sir and I can help. I’m just Phone call away
