No he killed that deer the same year as the pic, last year. I just think the g4 is longer on the trail camera pic and the main beam is a little longer on the dead one. It seems like the trail cam pic has a little more mass too.

Different angles change depth/ length perception.
Mass looks the same. Glare may make the main look thicker?
