Was there a wound on the side opposite the antler?

I didn’t shoot the buck, another guy on the property did but he didn’t say anything about a wound. I didn’t see a wound on the trail cam pic either. I just don’t think it is the same deer. They look very similar to me, but not the same.

He almost looks like this deer, one year later and with both sides?

Used hunt in place AL seen that alot talked some the locals about they said was from mineral deficeny in soil. I killed a big buck had perfect 5 on one side and just a stub on the other.
