The most interesting thing about this is that they are considering making a hi cap double stack mag for it. If they do, I'll be getting my first Hi-Point carbine.

Unlike their pistols, these are actually nice little bargain priced rifles. I just can't understand why they don't make a version that is compatible with Glock mags.

They asked me about that; but I told them since I don't own any Glocks, I don't want to buy Glock magazines.

Even if I didn't own Glocks, it would still be nice if it used cheap and abundant mags... like the Glock.

Gotta love the HP carbines.

Best bang for the buck out there, and reliable as any Glock. Too simple to break, or even bother cleaning. So cheap you can throw one in the trunk and never worry about it again, but be sure it'll run if you need it even after being ignored for a few years.

The only downside to them is how ugly they are (and even that's gotten a little better with the latest ones), so seeing kits like this is kind of cool.
