Looking for a plate vibrator/compactor

Doing another job that requires a good deal of compaction and instead of renting one I'm considering purchasing one. Also have some guns I could trade depending on value and price. Something used that works without to much issue please

Get a jumping jack over the plate, much better compaction. I was a soil technician for 3 years in the construction industry and the plate isn't that great.

Is that the same thing as a Wacky Packer?

Yeah, Wacker packer / jumping jack are the same thing. If you can get a deal on it, you would be much better off.
