Looking for a quality machine shop, Rossville, GA

Oddly enough
The cheapest thing is to buy a replacement rebuilt crate engine from a Chevy dealer or Jegs or Summit
I bet the Summit store south of Atlanta has some in stock

Can you do the swap or you gotta pay someone to do that ?

Good suggestion. I checked around and believe a Goodwrench crate motor is the way to go. I've rebuilt a few engines in my day, so I'll probably do the job myself.

If it was a numbers matching classic I'd get it rebuilt
But for a late model generic vehicle if get a crate engine

And the labor will be as much or more than the engine
If you can do the swap you can save a lot

I'd get a new injector spider and replace it while you're in there
Those are famous for going bad

I'd probably go with a new radiator and hoses and new GM water pump too, not a cheap Chinese one from a auto parts store
