Looking for Glock recoil spring, G17, Gen 2

These are rated at 17 pounds from the factory, I need a "lighter" weight spring. The Glock Store // Lenny Magill // sells them with a tungsten rod, for $50+, but I only need a lighter spring. Or as an option, a stock spring, or 2, that I can experiment with by cutting off a coil or 2. Any and all help appreciated.

If this is a dumb idea, you can say that too.

If you ordered Wolff's, they generally like a metal guide rod. The ones from ISMI are flat-wire, like OEM, so they play on the factory guiderod a little better.
