Easy there big fellow, BRD1 is mine...Not yet you're not
If I get to hunt this year you can tag along. It would be more south than north but, we can look at places.Gone hunting a few times, but I don't have a lot of friends and family with interest in it, and those that do are often too busy to go as often as I'd like. Most interested in deer, but I'm down for hog, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, duck, and dove. Would love to get my freezer stocked. My biggest concerns about going on my own are field dressing (only helped with one deer, so not confident to do it on my own just yet) and having someone around in case of emergency. Got all my gear. I'm in Sandy Springs area and happy to just do WMAs around Atlanta. Was looking at Coopers Creek in particular, seemed like a cool spot when I drove around it a bit. Would want to meet up first, maybe hit the range and grab drink, get to know each other. Cheers!
And my deer..Those aren't that bad of a drive. You mean lugging my own gear/deer?
I usually get the DNR guys to bring their truck to retrieve anything I get if I can't figure out a way to do it myselfHaha I see, a little hard work traded for knowledge I don't see an issue!
