Looking for information reguarding a remington 700 with the arch angel frame.

I know absolutely nothing about bolt action rifles but I would love to buy a 700 then swap the frame to the arch angel setup. My real question is what model 700s they will fit. Does it matter. I've tried to Google it but I'm still unclear. Also wouldn't mind purchasing on here if someone has the whole setup or just the rifle. Thanks again.

magpul has a 700 stock for the short and long actions. looks better than the archangels imo.

you can also use a hogue over mold and modify it to accept the magpul bottom metal. then you have a detachable mag..

I would like to take some 5 600 yard shots with no problem. I would like a short action honestly.

700 in 308 is a short action. you can get a good starter at Academy.

they shoot good, just have a light barrel. they will take you to 5 or 600 easy..

yes, as long as you buy the short action stock...

look for a used Remington 700 AAC-SD or LTR. 308 is a good caliber to learn with, once you can master 308 wind calls the other stuff will be easy. The Magpul Chassis (stock) is a better option than the Archangel. you could also look for a used HS precision or Bell & Carlson Stock. Long Range shooting can be a drug, enter at your own risk.
