Yeah the factory is hardly ever any help for older models. But it's hard to believe they're that hard to find. I would've bet Numrich or eBay would be the place for it. Have you tried the parts section of GunBroker.

I sure have and no luck. Does anybody make parts these days? I know it would be expensive but beggers can't be choosers.

From the looks of the swivel you need I think you could source something close and usable in the hardware/ nuts and bolts drawers at Lowe's/ Home Depot. Plus I think the Finnish Mosins had similar sling mounts. I know that because I searched for them on eBay.
