I'm in the market for a compact 9 that will be an always carry, except for when I carry full size.
Thinking of one of the following.
Walther PPS
Ruger Lc9s pro
Glock 43
Springfield XDs

I am open to other options. I prefer without a manual safety and like a nice trigger. Help me decide. Looking for personal opinions and choices.

I carry a Glock 19/26 normally and an XDs for deep concealment, but honestly prefer my wife's shield.

But it's hard to beat the deal on the XDs now, with all the freebies.

Are you wanting to shoot it a lot, or familiarize yourself with it and fire enough so it is broken in?

If the latter, I would chose a Kahr CM9. Great trigger, full power 9mm, as light as anything comparable, no safety, and it just works. They are not fun guns to shoot, though.

I have had to use mine twice , and only had it because I could drop it in a pocket. If it were a belt carry gun, would not have had a gun.
