They are all mutant rifles. Stamped steel, and cheap metal throughout says it all. LOL
That is what I am trying to avoid is a gun that has feeding/firing issue which is why I love my ak’s as they accurate enough to hit the prey I am looking for within a couple hundred yards. But, I am not a fan of the lack of rails/placement of optics, flash light, and a an/peq15 sight. Which I had been curious about the $500ish nv scope which can be used during the day as well. Does it really work well and standup to dumping some serious rounds? As I want nv for my kids that will hold up as they probably won’t use it for 7-20yrs(max), and I can find good data on the degradation rates of phosphorus tubes in the nv plus the price of 2-3 set that are not monocular. Although I saw in a movie a set where the actor was able to pull down each tube as he wanted which looked sweet, but would be way out of my price range as I have to save up for nv as I just have a gen3 monocular which is like trying to play basketball with one hand and little to no depth perception😂. I appreciate all of y’all’s help as I want to find a mutant with the same piston gas system as a regular Ak with the rails, etc of an ar. Thanks again and any more info is appreciated as well as I love to learn.

Which I appreciate your help, I just want to find the best version for my son and daughter(which I am thinking about getting rid of the Saiga 12 I have for her, although she like my ex-wife her is stout and at 13 is about 2in shorter😂). Dissent. I think Adams Arms makes a piston conversion if you have to have a piston and like a DI gun , but I have no experience with it. A CMMG Banshee @ $1100-$1250 come’s with a lifetime warranty for a reason. Nobody uses it.
