Looking for the do all pistol.

I am deciding on a be all do all pistol. My budget is around the $500-$600 mark. I am really only looking at striker fired pistols.

I like Glocks, and all of the things available for them. I have recently read about the SIG P320 and like it on paper. So at the moment, it is between the SIG and a Glock 17 Gen 4.

This gun will serve as my carry as I like full sized guns, as well as live on my night stand at night, and as a shtf side arm.

Looking for your fellas opinions as well as suggestions.

G30S would be my do-all pistol of choice but I can't operate like that.
You can't go wrong with a G17 though

I have a feeling you are going to get a bunch of Glock responses. Have you checked out the VP9, it's about the same size as a Glock 17? Of course magazines are about double the price of a Glock magazine and there are fewer holster / accessory options

G23 with a 9mm conversion barrel and a clip draw...that's how I roll.

G23 with a 9mm conversion just for occasional plinking(haven't ever even bothered with that yet)...but carry with .40 as God and Gaston intended. I have a NICE 1911 offering for 600 if you decide to roll over to the dark side.

im a glock nut. However that hk vp9 may turn me.

I have never been a real fan of 40s&w. I do like the 357sig though.
