I watched a locksmith from Mexico make a key for a "club" in 3 minutes. He made a key to unlock the handle bars and start a motorcycle in about 6 minutes. I then hired him to make 2 sets of three separate keys for a 1962 Ford Falcon in an hour.

All were done with key blanks, small rat tail file and a pair of vice grip pliers to hold the blank. He would wiggle the blank back and forth in the lock and based on the marks left on the blank he would start filing until it worked. Amazing to watch.

I remember a friend opening some locks using freon and a blank

Don't sweat the lock, grab a piece of re-bar and twist the hasp off. Or so i've heard...
