Low flying military aircraft?

Thursday evening just before dark I was headed home and a c130 I believe came over at maybe 300 feet. He was so low I felt him coming before he flew over, soon as he passed I could see most details of the underside of the plane. It was almost dark, so i couldn't read the tail numbers, but he was flying north along a path just west of i75. Did any of y'all ODT guy's see this aircraft?

I didn’t see it but the first time I ever saw that happen I was a kid in the 80s I had no idea what was coming. 3 flew over and shook the house. They were really close to the treetops. It was really awesome.

Yep it was awesome, almost scary low, it made me wonder if it was having issues? Other military aircraft follow the same route. Choppers, fighters occasionally.

Yep, he probably came from there. Maybe on maneuvers?

They fly a regular training route that crosses Chatsworth around dusk. Sometimes they'll be 5 or 600 feet and then other times they will just about tickle the tops of the pine trees.

Yeah, they're training. We get them low over here all the time. They rattle the windows. They're usually in pairs when they're this far NW.

Terrain avoidance training. There are several low level VR routes they run up here in the mountains. It’s usually two C-130’s in trail and they start right after dusk.

Probably. This one was alone. Heck it shook my truck.
