Lowball irony.

OP, I had a similar experience with an established member on here. Ive noted in the past that this particular person sells their items for a good bit above the average price and at times above retail. I don’t really care about that, so I just move along when I see their posts. That very same person sent me a PM about something of mine and hit me with a lowball offer that dang near cut my feet out from under me. Funny thing about it is that he’s had the same type item in similar condition listed for darn near double the price. My only reply was a polite “no thanks” along with a counter offer that was $50 above my asking price. He got an attitude about it and griped at me me for increasing my price. I told him that when folks lowball me I merely send an even higher counter offer back at them. That pretty much put an end to the matter and he moved on to the next flip. Oh and he ended the PM’s with a GLWS. That put a big smile on my face.
