It takes a standard AR15 fire control group which I thought was pretty cool. Believe it or not, I haven't even got to shoot it yet. It's currently at my house and Im stationed in North Carolina. But being the paranoid man that I am, I wanted to have an extra of just about everything hah. I get to go home for a but on Tuesday, so I'll be shooting it either this coming week, or weekend. A friend who I trust VERY much in the industry has one of the 16" versions and said it's the gun that is replacing all of his M1A's, which was good enough for me. Ill be home Tuesday, and I can at least give a word on how the gun feels and how smooth it is.
