Luxembourg FN49 brought back from the dead

It was $250 bucks for this bastardized Luxembourg 30-06 Fn-49 this was my LGS today! I already ordered every part I need to make her 100% right again for $275 bucks. Barrel is mint every other component is mint. I have no clue what someone was thinking? This is a $1500 dollar rifle that someone chopped up. Anyway what a snag of a deal for me cant wait to make it a beautiful rifle again. I did run 50 rounds through it when I got home it runs like a top!

Yeah I almost didnt recognize what it was when it was on the rack. But I sure am glad I ask to hold it.

I have it all tore down waiting on parts front sight/gas block is even pressed off. Cant wait to bring this one back to life!
