Anyone have any experience using one of these? Was thinking about trying one. They seem to get good reviews online and reasonably priced.

Lyman gen 6 powder measure

I’ve had one for 7-8 years. It been great. No issues what so ever.
I really wanted an RCBS, but I had a ton of Bass Pro Points at the time, and this was the unit they had. So I got it.
I originally got it because I load 10MM with IMR 800x. This powder is about the size of corn flakes and a pain to meter. The Gen 6 throws percent charges of this and every other powder I’ve tried over the years.
It’s consistent and throws charges fast (speed depends a lot on the powder being used).
It’s programmable and easy to use. Probably has more features than I could ever use.
I use it mainly for load development and precision rifle loads. I will throw a charge just under weight and then trickle on a scale the measures to hundredths of grain.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again today.

Got my lyman gen 6 today. Man if i only had this thing 10,000 rds ago.. so far it has worked perfectly.
