I have to undercut all Glocks to be able to shoot them. The M&P just fit me better out of the box. I shot it very well. Nice balance. Very manageable recoil.
I have a 5" FDE as well. Have you had any issues with it and FTE with JHP ammo? Mine had 3 malfunctions with 124gr +p Speer Golddot. I had zero malfunctions with the 115gr factory ball ammo I was also shooting. I really like the M2.0, everything about it is great except those malfunctions with the JHP ammo.
I took my 5" out of the box and ran an advanced handgun class with it. 1100 rounds in an 8 hour class. Not one problem. Cheap ammo too.
M2.0 only because it fits my hand best and it points the best for me. I can draw and I'm getting a perfect sight picture. Its just more natural for me. The trigger is better and it's felt recoil is very light. I'm bummed I've had some malfunctions with some JHP but I'm hoping by cleaning the extractor channel and extractor that it will function as intended.
thats the thing. the cheap stuff ran fine. it was my factory Speer Golddot 124gr +p that I was getting the malfunctions with. Just weird...
I've experienced zero malfunctions. Running 115 (cheap) aguilla 124 (cheap) and 147 hand reloads from buddy and 147 freedoms munitions? In fact...it's never malfunctioned yet and I'm sitting at 1500-2k?? I was curious about this as well when I purchased and was inspecting guide rod etc but haven't had any problems. I imagine you may if you ever tried to get an APEX threaded BBL and run that with a long heavy can....bet we'd be spring shopping
I'm gonna shoot tonight I'll run some expensive SD 124 JHPs and see what happens. Some speers HSTs and CDs
