i have an SA garand purchased from CMP several years ago...the receiver was manufactured in December of 1941, the barrel was made in July of 1943. The TE measures 1 and ME is 1+. Has period correct SA bolt, trigger group, op rod, etc.

She's an amazing shooter of course. Is there any small chance that the barrel could be original?

If it was correct it would be a December 41 or November 41 barrel.
And or the barrel might not be marked at all (rare).
You have a replacement barrel and it could have been done as late as 1945 with a 1943 barrel but if the pads are not chromed then it was done in 1943.
