M1 Garand question

Thank you and there are a lot of people on here with just as much knowledge as me and more that is why I love the ODT.
Since the OP’s question was answered, the Garand gurus are in the loop and the thread title is “M1 Garand Question”, I have one (or two) as well.
1) What’s the best book/website for looking up correct parts based on the receiver serial no.?
2) I’m looking for an IHC trigger group. There is a re-finished IHC on eBay for $175 now, non-forged trigger guard. Wondering if it’s in the ballpark for my Dad’s 5178XXX IHC.

I completely disassembled my SA last night. God help me when it comes time to reassemble it! Only non-SA part is the safety. It’s an HRA.

The reason I’m swapping it is because it has a WRA trigger in it now that I want to move to a WRA!
Will need a WRA op rod and bolt, next. Then an IHC bolt for Dad!

Quite possibly this rifle is a rebuild by fed ord of a lot of salvage parts and receivers bought from the phillipines in the mid '80s -- Federal ordnance and national ordnance are a complicated business at best.
